Wine, without the performance

Less showing off.
More paying attention.

Our journal is a place to slow down and think about wine in context: the meal, the company, and the occasion. Michael’s preference leans toward the Old World, but the conversation does not end at Europe’s edge.

American wines belong here too. So does an honest budget. We deliberately keep the focus under $100 a bottle, with no pressure to spend close to the ceiling.
